Ashley Drake is a Licensed Professional Counselor who received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2009 from Albany State University and her Master of Arts with a concentration in Marriage & Family Therapy from Argosy University in 2013.
I help couples secure long-term solutions for their relationship to mental and emotional disorders and a wide variety of relationship issues. I believe individuals and their problems must be seen in the context of their relationships; therefore, treatment is centered not only on the individual, but on everyone who has a relationship with the individual as well.
My goal is to modify perceptions and behavior, as well as improve communication among families/couples in crisis. Couples considering divorce, relationship crisis and working through sexual barriers with couples who can learn different behavioral patterns and effectively utilize them to have a healthy relationship is a focal point.
I counsel individuals, couples and groups to highlight problematic patterns that need to be changed, enhance communication and help clients to address dysfunctional behaviors by replacing them with constructive actions through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a Person Centered Approach.
