Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Still not sure? Here are the questions we hear most often.

Do you accept insurance for these services?
No. Parent Solutions services are self-pay only. These are clinical support services that are not billed through insurance and do not require a diagnosis. All fees are collected at the time of booking through our secure payment system.
Are these the same as regular therapy sessions?
Parent Solutions services are clinical support services delivered by our licensed staff. They are not traditional therapy sessions and do not require a diagnosis, but they are provided by the same licensed professionals on our team. If your child needs ongoing clinical care, our therapy team can help with that too. These services are for families who need focused, practical support and a clear action plan right now.
What ages are these services designed for?
Most home behavior services work well for children ages 4 through 17. Plans are tailored to your child's developmental stage. School support services are relevant for any school-age child. College and career services are designed for teens in middle and high school, as well as parents planning ahead.
My child has ADHD or is neurodivergent. Will these plans work for us?
Yes. All plans can be adjusted for executive functioning challenges, sensory needs, and regulation differences. We have a dedicated ADHD Home Management Plan and a College Transition Plan specifically for neurodivergent students. Just note it on your intake form and your clinician will tailor accordingly.
What if I need more support after my plan?
Follow-up options are available after your initial service. You can request an additional session, book another service, or inquire about ongoing therapy through our clinical team. We will always let you know if what you are dealing with would be better served by something else.
Is there a travel fee for in-person IEP and 504 meetings?
Yes. A $52 travel fee applies when a clinician attends a meeting in person at a school or off-site location. This fee is collected at booking and goes directly to the attending clinician. Virtual meetings do not require a travel fee. Meetings that exceed the included time cap are billed at $65 per additional 30 minutes.
What if we are in a crisis?
These services are not for emergencies. If your child is in immediate danger or at risk of harm to themselves or others, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. For mental health crisis support, call GCAL at 1-800-715-4225 or call or text 988.
