We See You

Being a Single Mom Is the Hardest Job There Is

◎

You're Always On

There's no one to tap in when you're exhausted. No one to split the mental load. No backup. The weight of doing it all — every single day — is something only another single mom truly understands.

■

You Can't Always Say How You Really Feel

You have to stay strong for your kids. You don't want to burden your friends. And sometimes the loneliness of not having a safe place to be honest is the hardest part of all.

◈

You Put Yourself Last

Your needs are always at the bottom of the list. Your mental health, your joy, your dreams — they get whatever energy is left after everyone else. This group is about changing that.

Why This Group

Built by Women Who Get It — For Women Who Need It

★

Single Moms Only

This space is exclusively for single moms — no explaining your situation, no feeling like an outlier. Everyone in the room is navigating a version of your life.

□

Therapist Facilitated

Sessions are led by a licensed or pre-licensed master's level therapist. You get professional guidance alongside peer community — not just a venting circle.

□

Flexible — Your Way

Who This Is For

This Group Is for You If...

All single moms are welcome — regardless of how long you've been a single mom, how old your kids are, or what your situation looks like.

I'm doing it all alone I'm recently separated or divorced I've been a single mom for years I need people who understand I'm exhausted and running on empty Co-parenting is a daily battle I feel guilty about not doing enough I've lost my sense of self I want community, not just therapy I need tools to cope better I'm rebuilding my life I just need to be heard
What to Expect

Real Talk. Real Support. Every Week.

Sessions are therapist-facilitated and structured to give you both space to process and tools to grow. Whether you're having your best week or your worst, there's room for you here.

Both Tuesday and Thursday groups follow the same format so you can attend either — or both — without missing a beat.

  • 1

    Warm Welcome & Check-In

Every session opens with space to share how your week has been — no pressure, just presence.

  • 2

    Therapist-Guided Discussion

Your licensed or pre-licensed master's level facilitator guides meaningful conversation around the challenges unique to single motherhood.

  • 3

    Peer Connection & Sharing

Hear from women navigating similar terrain. Share what's working — and what isn't. Zero judgment.

  • 4

    Practical Tools & Takeaways

Leave with something concrete — a coping strategy, a fresh perspective, or simply the reminder that you are not alone.

  • 5

    Strict Confidentiality

All members sign a confidentiality agreement before joining. What's shared in the group stays in the group — always.

FAQ

Common Questions

Do I have to commit to a specific group day?
No — with the monthly membership you can attend any combination of Tuesday and Thursday sessions throughout the month. You're not locked into one day or format.
What does "unlimited sessions" mean exactly?
With the $180/month membership you can attend all available sessions that month — up to 8 total (both Tuesday virtual and Thursday virtual groups, every week). That's $22.50/session if you attend all 8, versus $30 drop-in.
What happens to sessions on holidays?
Sessions that fall on major holidays will be canceled and are non-refundable. This policy exists because the monthly membership price already reflects a significant discount. Even with occasional holiday cancellations, members receive exceptional value compared to the drop-in rate.
Is this therapy or a support group?
It's a therapist-facilitated support group — professionally guided but focused on peer community and shared support rather than individual clinical treatment. If you're interested in individual therapy, we offer that separately at With A Child's Heart.
Can I do the virtual group if I live outside Canton?
Absolutely. Both the Tuesday and Thursday virtual groups are open to single moms anywhere in Georgia. All you need is a phone or computer with internet access.
How do I sign up?
Call us at 770-224-7245 or email [email protected]. We'll complete a brief intake and get you set up before your first session. Spots are limited in both groups.
